Real project

Two story videos, turned into two full campaigns.

Church on the Rock had two finished videos: Ryan and Kathy’s testimony, and a beach baptism. I built a campaign around each one so the stories would actually get watched, by members and by people who had never been to the church.

The brief

Great stories, no plan to share them

The videos were already made. What the church needed was a way to get people to watch them: posts that stop the scroll, an email members would open, and a clear next step for anyone moved by the story.

The baptism campaign also had a second job: invite people who were thinking about baptism to start that conversation.

The approach

Lead with the line that hits hardest

The story’s own words up front. Every graphic opens with the strongest line from the video, so the post works even if someone never taps play.

One system, two personalities. Shared type, hand-drawn accents, and layout rules tie everything together. The testimony leans dark and intimate; the baptism leans ocean blue and celebratory.

Every piece points to the video. Captions are written for search and comments. A comment keyword triggers an automatic DM with the link, so interest turns into a view on the church’s website.
